Rosa Rodríguez, a Spanish photographer and visual artist, explores the relationship between human beings and the environments they inhabit.
She studied Artistic Photography at the Escuela de Arte y Diseño in Madrid and completed postgraduate studies in Visual Anthropology and Art Education.
She has been recognized with the Profifoto New Talent Award (2023), Earth Photo, awarded by Forestry England and the Royal Geographical Society (2022), and the Sustainable Award, granted by the International Women In Photo Association – IWPA (2020), among others; she was also selected for the Canon Development Program at Visa pour l’Image (2020).
Her work — in the form of photobooks, exhibitions, and audiovisual projects — has been shown at art festivals and centers such as Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival (Ras Al Khaimah, 2026), Photopia Festival (Hamburg, 2023), Les Rencontres d’Arles – The Best of Night of the Year (Arles, 2022), Helsinki Photo Festival (Helsinki, 2022), Photometria Festival – Parallel Voices (Tbilisi, 2022), Expo 2020 Dubai – French Pavilion (Dubai, 2022), and Encontros da Imagem (Braga, 2020).
Her photographs have been published in Fisheye, Profifoto, Salvaje, Burn, OjodePez, and Handbali magazines, as well as in the newspaper El País. In 2021, she published the photobook The White Line, with the support of La Kursala, Universidad de Cádiz, which was selected among the best photobooks of the year by PhotoEspaña (2022) and was a shortlist in the Luma Rencontres Dummy Book Award Arles (2020).

Rosa Rodríguez, fotógrafa y artista visual española, explora la relación entre el ser humano y el entorno que habita.
Estudió Fotografía Artística en la Escuela de Arte y Diseño de Madrid y cursó estudios de postgrado en Antropología Visual y Educación Artística.
Ha sido reconocida con el Premio Profifoto Nuevo Talento (2023), Earth Photo, otorgado por Forestry England y la Royal Geographical Society (2022), y el Premio Sostenible, otorgado por la International Women In Photo Association - IWPA (2020), entre otros; seleccionada para el Programa de Desarrollo de Canon en Visa pour l’Image (2020).
Sus trabajos, en forma de libros, exposiciones y proyectos audiovisuales, se han mostrado en festivales y centros de arte como Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival (Ras Al Khaimah, 2026), Photopia Festival (Hamburgo, 2023), Les Rencontres d’Arles – The Best of Night of the Year (Arles, 2022), Helsinki Photo Festival (Helsinki, 2022), Photometria Festival – Parallel Voices (Tbilisi, 2022), Expo 2020 Dubai – French Pavilion (Dubái, 2022), y Encontros da Imagem (Braga, 2020).
Sus fotografías han sido publicadas en las revistas Fisheye, Profifoto, Salvaje, Burn, OjodePez y Handbali, así como en el periódico El País. En 2021 publicó el fotolibro La Línea Blanca, con el apoyo de La Kursala, Universidad de Cádiz, que fue seleccionado entre los mejores fotolibros del año por PhotoEspaña (2022) y finalista en el Luma Rencontres Dummy Book Award Arles (2020).
